Renovation, rebranding, relaunching of existing North Indian restaurant in Madison Heights suburb of Detroit. The name is derived from a traditional Punjabi textile, "Phulkari" and alludes to a weaving of color, history, and story. This quilt-like technique inspired the colorful decor of the interior space. The interiors were completely reconfigured and attention was given to create a fresh, clean and contemporary setting to enjoy an award winning, traditional cuisine. Architecture / Interiors: Jaipal Singh. Graphics: Maanik Singh Chauhan. Store opened in August 2012.
