Conceptual design of the new Sikh religious center in Cincinnati, OH. Our Principal Architect, Jaipal Singh, spearheaded the early design and planning process starting in 2005 working through design in collaboration with Jose Garcia Architects in 2009. Capturing the essence of a Sikh religious ceremony, the design focused on providing a serene, spiritual experience and bringing a new angle to a rich Sikh architectural tradition. Unfortunately, the GC altered the final design mid-construction and the original concept was all but lost. The building opened in April 2011.
